The 5th QIC Innovation Breakfast
The event took place on the 11th of march 2018. It was attended by CENG Dean Dr Khalifa Al-Khalifa, CENG Technology Innovation and Engineering Education Unit (TIEE) Head Dr Abdulla Al Ali, and Projects Advisor at the Supreme Committee of Legacy and Projects Special Projects Office Mr Oscar Barranco Liebana, as well as CENG faculty and staff and QIC representatives.
Discussions focused on several topics such as “Sports Event Technologies: Crowd Management in Sports Events”, “Smart Transport: Testing of Driving Behavior and Innovative Road Designs and Signage using Driving Simulation”, “eHealth: CENG research in Biomedical and e-health applications”, “Artificial intelligence: Latest research, applications and challenges”, “Cyber Security: KINDI’s initiatives”, and “Innovation Skills and Competences: Innovation Skills and Competences for the 4th Industrial Revolution”.
In his remarks, Dr Abdalla Al Ali said: “This event serves to explore and identify innovation projects, particularly for potential applications related to the operations of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™ and other key national projects.
