Facilities and Resources
The laboratory facilities of the Department of Chemical Engineering are accessible to students, faculties and researchers. The laboratories are well equipped with sophisticated analytical equipment and advanced teaching and research equipment. These facilities and equipment are operated and managed by highly qualified and well trained staff.
Department of Chemical Engineering contains seven laboratories. They include the Unit Operations Laboratory (BCR-G224) used for Chemical Engineering Laboratory 2 course (CHME 325), Reaction and Control Laboratory (BCR-G228) used for Chemical Engineering Laboratory 3 course (CHME 426) and two undergraduate student research laboratories (BCR-G225 and BCR-G227). In addition, there is the main Analytical Services Laboratory (BCR-G219) that services all undergraduate projects as well as faculty research projects. Moreover, there are two labs dedicated for faculty research, the Chemical Engineering Research lab (I216) and the College of Engineering Research Lab#6.

Thus, the Department always review and update the safety and lab procedure and regulations complying with the university safety recommendations and rules.
